Just got home. International halloween party. Awsam! Anyways. Was thinking how most of the morning show presenters have every word scripted, right? And how sometimes they get bored in the studio during their morning show! And how they just stop being who they really are and become a construct of the PD + radio consultant. How can that be?
It struck me today, while ordering drinks. I saw the whole crew of waiters dancing behind the bar, while they had the biggest crowd yelling for drinks! But they were really enjoying the music, eachother and obviously their job! (sorry about the quality of the pic, the phone was tired as well)

Isn’t that supposed to be the whole point? FUN and SPONTANEITY!? Isn’t that the nature of radio?
How can the morning show crews be bored? They are the heart of a radio station? They give the day its rhythm.
Shouldn’t they be in love with the programme and their radio station? Shouldn’t they?
Oooooh, yes, right, now I remember now.
Dan O’Day answered that one already!
Too many Frankensteins in the radio world, right?
